Pavelink GPS is a GPS tracking application for truck drivers.Thisapp can be used to send location data to Topcon'sPavelinkapplication.

This application combined with Topcon’s TH-M1 ThermalMapperhardware system gives paving contractors and stakeholdersreal-timevisibility, flexibility and control to make decisions thatwillaffect the short- and long-term quality of pavement.Theapplication makes thermal segregation data visible at thepaver,enabling quick decision making. Data collected will aid inthecertification and acceptance of paving projects by DOTs andotherpaving project owners. The Thermal Mapper’s real-time feedbackwillhelp contractors maximize profitability by taking advantageofincentives and avoiding penalties set by DOTs. Thermal mapperdatacollected by the application is available on the Pavelinkwebapplication and provides online reports as well as support forVetafiles. Pavelink helps address ever-changing variables in the asphaltpavingprocess by monitoring and managing steps in theplanning,preparation and execution of projects. Thiscloud-connectedapplication ties together technology at the asphaltplant’sweighbridge, mobile devices in trucks and sensors on thepavers togive stakeholders a real-time view of the entire pavingworkflow.Optional Pavelink Thermal Mapper app, displays, sensorkits andassociated apps record, visualize and document screedwidth; andlocation, temperatures and volumes of laid asphalt.Pavelinkaggregates and reports on this data to equip projectstakeholderswith current information so adjustments can be madefrom the mix atthe plant to the arrival of materials at the jobsite and speed ofthe paver. Documentation is another problem inpaving projects.Pavelink generates digital weigh tickets atconnected paving plantscales, then centrally stores those ticketsand all of the otherpreparation, planning, process and executiondocumentation.
